It’s 2022 and I’m Still Unemployed

To say the least it’s been a tough couple of years. Been wearing several hats, numerous jobs, side hustles, and the like. And I’m just fed up trying.

During the pandemic I worked remotely as a Marketing Director for a home furnishings company and it sucked. My boss was neat, but one of the other department managers was a nightmare, used to scream at me every week and accuse me of going into her files; tense and paranoid. Made me second guess myself a lot, until my last week I got fed up and barely did any work. They must have checked my mouse or something because I got fired on a Monday. I was planning to quit anyway. Luckily, I was able to file unemployment. It’s not much, but it’s something. Also been working more on my side hustle, as well as selling goods and clothing online.

They say it’s a workers economy, but I don’t know. All I do know is that I’m very much fed up working for other people. Hence, why I’m here. Another outlet for me to commiserate. I’ve also been setting up other websites where I can work remotely. It’s good and it keeps me busy.

Hopefully 2022 is a win for me!
